Dear Cary, Eddie and Family, So sorry for your loss last month of your Dad (and Grandfather). From the time I met him when I was two years old until I moved 13 years later I never can recall him not smiling and anytime being less than welcoming when I came next door to visit which was often :). He was always smiling and always made me feel good. My best memories were created when Frank decided to build Cary a homemade wooden fort on top of the swing-set one summer. Cary and I spent so much time in that fort over the next few years including MANY overnights... some in the middle of the winter where we played many board games (including some multi-day Risk games) and listened to music. We had sooooo much fun in that fort. Those will always be very special memories. Please let me know if I can help in any way. Love, Ron and Family

I have a vivid recollection of my Uncle Frank at an event that occurred probably 15 years ago. It took place in the party room of my Mother's apartment. I had travelled to Toronto from Vancouver with my wife to visit my Mom and my brother and his family. Mom thought it would be a good idea to get all my Toronto uncles and aunts and their children and grandchildren together. Frank and Sandy also happened to be visiting from Rochester. So we were all clustered together in this little room with all the children running around having a grand time, and in the middle of the chaos was my Uncle Frank, the Master of Ceremonies, holding court. And what was he doing? For whoever was paying attention, he was telling dirty jokes! And he always had good ones! I have many, many other fond memories from days when I was growing up when my family would visit Frank in Rochester, and from later times when our paths would cross or we would have occasional telephone talks to keep up-to-date. A man with a super personality, I will very much miss my Uncle Frank and will remember all the good times that occurred with him over the course of my seven decades.

Ed and Family - My deepest condolences on the passing of your father. He and your mom always welcomed me into their home and treated me well. My fondest memory of Frank is the Passover Seder dinner when he stopped several times throughout the ceremony to explain it to Christine and myself. It was very kind and thoughtful of him to do so. May your cherished memories comfort you during this difficult time.

Eddy,Cary,Sandy and families: May your hearts be filled with pride and joy when you reflect on the life of Frank. As long as I can remember I thought I shared a special relationship with this amazing Uncle of mine only to learn as an adult that he had a special relationship with so many people. I often wished my father could be Frank for his stories, teachings and lessons were so easy to absorb and always bestowed with humour and affection. His generosity to give of himself is and was admirable indeed. Love you 4 EVER Frankee Babee! You did good.

Cary & Eddie: We are so very sorry to hear about Uncle Frank. I will always remember his numerous war stories and the pride he took in being part of the veteran's organization, not to mention the time he took us along on one of your RV camping trips with our dad when Shale and I were young. Both Stephanie and I always looked forward to seeing him again at the family picnics and hearing what was going on. I will constantly remember him as being a very positive, happy man who truly loved his family (both close and distant relatives alike). He will be very much missed. Our sympathies and thoughts go to both of you and your families. Lindsay & Stephanie

You know how families have a favourite and fun loving uncle. That would be Uncle Frank. I don't ever remember seeing him angry. We always looked forward to his visits to Toronto as well as our visits to Rochester. The Kazdan household was always welcoming, especially in the screened in garage on Meyerhill Circle. R.I.P
