Bill was a “Friend” since our early days on Thomas Street. He always had that wide smile and warm greeting when we would meet, wherever it would be. He made you feel special always. His kibbitz and his interest in you as a friend was never ending. My sincere condolences to the family including uncle Sol.

Dear entire Goldstein family,
It is with much sadness that we heard about Bill’s passing. I have too many fond memories to share but most of them were of the many rounds of golf we played at ICC together over at least 25 years. I always wanted your dad to be my partner against Sid Cutler and Norm Reich as there was no one more competitive than him. Although it’s been many years since we played together the memories will always be with me.Because of my health I can’t be at the funeral but our thoughts and prayers go out to all of you.
Your dad was a mensch in the truest form

Although I knew cousin Billy through numerous Eisenstat family get-together It was mostly through my time at the JCC where I really got to know him better and proudly; both as a proud parent and as a staunch supporter and priceless volunteer. I'll always remember on my initial tour as a prospective staff member (still on Andrew Street) when Stan Albert took me into the the Men's Health Club. There was cousin Bill on the table being worked on by Red Fox...looking over and calling out, " Stan, what are you doing with mn cousin?" It may have been a defining moment in my life...and I'm always grateful May all who knew him continue to draw inspiration from his legacy...as surely will I.

Dear Goldstein family
We send you our deepest condolences on your loss. Bill could best be described as a man for all seasons. His personality was filled with warmth and enthusiasm. If you saw him at the J C C or at Beth El , as we did , his greeting was a delight. He made you feel that you were his best friend as he recalled the days at Franklin or the old J Y .
It was a precious moment a few years ago to wish him Mazel Tov at a family Bar Mitzvah at Beth El. He responded with his warm smile. May his memory serve as a blessing and a source of healing to all of his family.

Bill was always a lot of fun. He had a great mind and was a fabulous kibitzer. I had some great times with him on the golf course, and Mary loved Rhoda. May Hashem comfort the family with the other mourners of Zion and Jerusalem.
