Obituary of Arthur A. Kaufman
November 28, 1922 - July 6, 2019. Predeceased by his parents, Albert & Eva Kaufman; brother, Leonard, and sister, Onalie Leshner. Survived by his loving wife, Susan; devoted children, Michael (Karin), Martin (Laura) Kaufman & Diane (Bill) Salter; grandchildren, Andrea (Alyson), Eric, Jessica, Matthew, David, Kristina Kaufman, Alex (Lauren) Salter; great-grandchildren, Hunter,Morrison, Lennox & Rowan; sister, Naomi Saltzman; nieces & nephews.
Art served in WW II, graduated from Syracuse University, and spent a long and successful career as a life insurance professional and as General Agent for Guardian Life Insurance Co. for 35 years.
Art was known for his honesty and integrity in all aspects of his life. He was an avid fan of Syracuse Basketball. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Funeral Services will be held on TUESDAY, July 9, 2019 at 11 AM in the sanctuary of Temple B'rith Kodesh, 2131 Elmwood Ave. Click here for a map to temple. Interment will take place privately in White Haven Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends on TUESDAY from 7-9 PM & WEDNESDAY 2-4 & 7-9 PM at 12 Powder Mill Dr. in Pittsford. Click here for directions to the house of mourning.
