From the moment I first met Art in the Health Club of the JCC waaaay back in the early 70's it was obvious what a gift the the community he was. Nothing ever changed that sentiment...it only strengthened as reflected by the his family, who've I'd enjoyed in so many capacities. May his memory strengthen in your minds and hearts every day.

Art was a gentleman and sportsman. Art lived his life in a manner that encouraged others to enjoy their lives. He loved golf and was a good golfer. His numerous Florida golf partners enjoyed golfing with Art because he was was fun and had a dry sense of humor. A favorite expression of his was, " A dry ball is a happy ball."
Art was a very generous and thoughtful person. In 2005, Art gave away his four,
almost impossible to get, Master Tournament tickets to four of his Florida golf partners. (Ted Kovacic, Bill Fanning, Frank Ciaetti and myself). Also, When Art found it difficult to reciprocate socially at the condo, Art and Susan invited several couples
to the Meadows County Club in Sarasota for a day of golf and dinner.
Art lived a long life. But, more importantly Art lived a life of relationships filled with love and respect.
