Obituary of Esther Hellman (Hasson)

Sunday, October 2, 2016 at age 86. Predeceased by husband Robert (Dick) Hellman, parents Freda & Max Hasson, and brother Raymond Hasson. Esther is survived by her children Barbara, Michael, and Susan Hellman (Paula Hansen), granddaughter Hannah Hellman, daughter-in-law, Christine Coffey and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Esther was a graduate of Franklin High School, Monroe Community College, and Nazareth College. She was also a retiree of the Rochester City School District, where she worked proudly for many years as a teacher’s aide. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at 11 AM in the Chapel (rear entrance) of Temple B’rith Kodesh, 2131 Elmwood Ave. Interment, Britton Road Cemetery. Visitation will occur at 55 Gregory Hill Road, Rochester NY 14620 on WEDNESDAY & THURSDAY 3-5 & 7-9 PM & FRIDAY 2-5 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Esther’s memory to Temple B’rith Kodesh, Lollypop Farm or the charity of your choice.
