Obituary of Irving Abrams

Irving Abrams Passed away on April 3, 2014 at age 86. Predeceased by his daughter, Sheri Abrams; sister, Evelyn (Jerome) Lasky. He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Beatrice; devoted daughters, Claudia (Anthony) Tripoli & Emily Gabriel; son-in-law, Michael (Sharon) Greenstein; cherished grandchildren, Rachel & Joshua Greenstein, Marissa Gabriel, Sarah (Judd) Gartenberg & Nick Tripoli; nieces & nephews. Irv was a Navy Veteran of WW II. He attended City College of NY, Brooklyn Polytech & Columbia University. Irv was employed in the defense industry in varying Engineering Leadership positions, first in NJ & then in the Boston area. He resided in Bedford, MA for 40 years prior to moving to Pittsford. He was an intelligent, technical, scientifically driven man who mentored two generation of scientists & engineers. He will always be remembered as a devoted husband, father, grandfather & brother. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, April 7, 2014 at 11 AM in the All Seasons Chapel of White Haven Memorial Park. Click here for directions to the cemetery.
