The children of Marty and Ethel Holleran, long-time friends of the Lewis family, join you with heartfelt prayer in your loss. Mike and Dad traveled many roads together, both personally and professionally, and we were blessed to have shared in that special relationship. Mike’s warmth, sincerity, humor, and support remain treasured memories for us all. We will miss him. With our own father passing in July, we are confident the two of them are now catching up with all of the old stories. May they both rest in the loving arms of God.

Mr Lewis, I never had the privilege of meeting you but I have known and shared some wonderful memories with your daughter Karon. Having read your bio here and knowing Karon, I can see where she got her sense of responsibility, direction to her life and the love she has expressed for you, her beloved Father. You fought this last battle bravely and are deserving of peace and joy for eternity. I am sure you will be so very missed by all those who have loved you and known you thru life...but maybe they can find some comfort when at night they look to the heavens and know that one of those bright shining lights in that sky is your spirit and love continuing to look down on and watch over all those who mean something to you. Karon this is a great loss for you, but the comfort of knowing that all the suffering and struggles are now over and done with and your Dad is now at peace and will always be no further away from than your heart. My prayers, and heartfelt thoughts and wishes for your peace and strength as you go thru this most difficult period in your life. If there is anything I can do or help with, please give me a call or drop a line. Peace and may the memories of your Dad and his love remain with you and help you thru this time and the days ahead. With Love and prayers, MaryAnne

Arthur and I are saddened at losing so good a friend of four decades. We are happy that Mike was able to find such happiness in his marriage to Marcia for so many years. It was obvious each time we were together, in New York City and on our trips abroad, how loving they were to each other. We will miss Mike and will take comfort, with Marcia, in our memories of the times we were together. Our deepest condolences to Marcia their daughters: Bonnie, Karon, Helen and Leeza and Mike's sister Ruth. Barbara

God will give you peace in this sad moment but remeber that your father wants you happy as I'm sure one day he said ""The values we live by are worth more when we pass them on...."". Your father left you with all the values a human being can have. With all my love

I have met Mike several times in the past 10 years,I count his daughter karon as one of my dearest friends. I enjoyed the stories he used to tell so wonderfully with that sly sense of humor and sweet smile. I saw Mike most recently right after he had been through surgery and was just starting to recover when he heard his diagnosis. Most people would have been despondent,he assimilated the news, worried about everyone but himself, then decided to fight for life, one that was taken too fast. I have thought of him and Karon frequently over the past month, prayed for him and smiled at my pleasant memories of him. My heart goes out to his family. I believe that he is in a far better place, free of pain and fear,it is his family and friends that suffer now,for the loss of those sparkly eyes and sense of humor,he is with you always, memories can never be taken away. all my love Patti
