Dear Pamela, Gail & Barry,
My thoughts are with you all at this time of your loss.
On a personal note I remember first meeting "Big Lou" (as Pammy affectionately referred to her father) in 2003. We were instant and fast friends. I cherish our last visits at the V.A.
Lou always came first with Pammy for all those years she lived with him, helped him with his affairs and selflessly cared for him around the clock.
Pammy would always be absolutely certain he had everything he needed before she left the house. She took him everywhere she could, and when we went out he often came with us on dinner outings, or Pammy brought back take-out when he wasn't up to it.
I remember his humor and brilliance and how he'd light up talking about "the device" he designed.
