Obituary of Howard D. Perlmutter

Howard Perlmutter Rochester: At age 71. Predeceased by his mother Ruth Millson, second mother Eudyce Perlmutter, father Emanuel Perlmutter and daughter Ann Perlmutter. He is survived by his loving wife, Deena Ambush Rankin; son, David, step-daughter, Janet Rankin; aunts & uncles, Esther & David Habin of Marblehead, MA, Dorothy & George Katz of Lynn, MA; trusted friend & caregiver, Dyesha Sanders. Dr. Perlmutter was retired Professor of Organic Chemistry at the New Jersey Institute of Technology, Newark NJ. Among his research projects he held a patent for cleaning out nitrous oxide from industrial emissions for cleaner air. He loved music, history, poetry and baseball. Graveside Services will be held Friday, July 17, 2009at 2:00 PM at Britton Road Cemetery (Click for a Map to the Cemetery). A period of mourning will follow at 1198 Edgemere Drive until 8:00 PM and also on Sunday 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 PM (Click for a Map to the House of Mourning).
