Obituary of Jeffrey Kemper Harris

Jeffrey Kemper Harris, MD Pittsford: Passed away unexpectedly on February 22, 2008 at age 57. He was predeceased by his parents, Jerome & Marion Harris. He is survived by his wife, Jennifer Harris; daughters, Elizabeth Ann Harris & Kathryn Lynn Harris; brother, Dan (Karen) Harris; sister, Diane (Doug) Harris, MD; nieces and nephews, Ben, Sophie, Emily & David; cousins and many friends and colleagues. Jeffrey was a local Ophthalmologist for over 20 years. He graduated from Colgate University in 1972 and the University of Colorado Medical School in 1976. He continued his medical education through a residency in Cornea and External Eye Disease at the University of Minnesota. Jeff completed a Cornea Fellowship with Dr. James Aquavella in 1980 in Rochester, NY. In addition to his Ophthalmology Practice he was a faculty member of the Eden Energy Medicine Certification Program. Jeff will be missed by all those whose lives he touched through his caring, gentle nature. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday March 29, 2008 in the Interfaith Chapel at the University of Rochester. Please note that there will be a shuttle from the Trustee Parking lot to the U of R Interfaith Chapel. A Reception will follow the service.
