Dear Norma/Family, when first I heard of Jack's death,"genius" came to mind. For how else can one explain how this unschooled man solved metallurgical problems that defied the PhD's. His successful career and thoughtful philanthropies will benefit Rochester far into the future. Well done,Jack!.love, Arthur/Judy Klass, Sarasota, Florida.

I had the privilege to work for Eldre Corporation while I lived in Rochester as well as being able to visit the facility in Angers. Eldre was a true family business in every sense, and while I only met Jack on a few occasions, his entrepreneurial, professional, and caring spirit lived in every family and extended family member I worked with. A special part of my career for which I am thankful. My sincere condolences to all of the Erdle family, may peace be with you.

Jack, along with Norma, were lifelong friends of my parents. As far as I'm concerned Jack became a hero the day he saved my father from choking, almost 15 years ago, by administering the Heimlich Maneuver.
