Dear Louise and family,
I want to express my deepest condolences at your mother's passing. I am so grateful for our last visit together in October. It was a joy to see her still lovely as ever and coherent at 103. I will always remember our times together - and how I enjoyed our talks about our families, beloved cats, life and life's dilemmas. She was always such a loving friend to my mother.
Where Bess was... there was intelligence, elegance, friendship and much laughter.
I am grateful that she passed peacefully.
Love,
Ellen
