Obituary of Melvin Shapiro

Melvin Shapiro, DDS Rochester: August 18, 2009 at age 81. Predeceased by his parents, Hyman & Rose Shapiro; and brother, Arnold Shapiro. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Mitzi; daughter, Lynn Shapiro Macy, CPA; son, Stephen Shapiro. PhD; brother, Burton (Ellen) Shapiro; nieces, nephews and special cousin, Morris Shapiro, MD. Dr. Shapiro was dedicated to professional care of his patients and served twice in the US Army, initially during World War II. Graveside Services will be held on Tuesday, August 25, 2009 at 2 PM in Mt. Hope Cemetery. Click here for directions to the cemetery.
