My Aunt Barbara was a warm, loving and generous woman. She and my Uncle Herman were always willing to help others. They always supported me in my endeavors. Their devoted children, grandchildren and great grandchildren are a tribute to them. May Barbara and Herman rest together in peace.

Ted and I will miss Aunt Barbara SO much. My first job working for Aunt Barbara and Uncle Herman at Bodner Bakery is the reason I met Ted. I owe them both so much. I will always miss her smiling, adorable face. She is back together with Uncle Herman, Angie & Jake, her brother and parents again. I'll take comfort in that.

I still remember the time when Bonnie and I took the train (by ourselves) to Rochester. We were met by the smiling faces of your Mom & Dad. Your Mom could make people SMILE. I will never forget how sweetly and graciously I was welcomed in Mama Mand's home as a friend of Laurie. My wedding cake was a beautiful gift from them and decorated with the same love and care I always felt from the family. Her life stories will remain in my heart forever. Aunt Barbara will be missed. I will always remember spending spring break at her home in Florida. She & Uncle Herman would be in the kitchen making tasty treats! I will cherish those memories.
I promise to tell her story & my grandmothers story to all that will listen. She was a brave & sweet woman. We are so sorry to hear of her passing but we take comfort in knowing she was surrounded by her family. May she rest in peace.

Aunt Barbara was the consummate matriarch, a devoted wife and a loving and wonderful mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her life was a tribute to all who survived the Holocaust. Our sincerest sympathy to the entire family and may she rest in peace.
