Obituary of Oscar R. Karch

Karch, Oscar R. Brighton: March 30, 2008, at age 93. Predeceased by parents, Nathan & Celia Karchefsky; son, Martin Alan Karch; and sister, Evelyn Simon. He is survived by his loving wife of over 70 years, Helen M.; sons and daughter-in-law, Dr. Gary (Roberta) Karch, Robert (Teri) Karch, and Sheryl Karch; grandchildren, Dr. Sheera (Dr. Jeffery) Siegel, Matthew (Cheryl) Karch, Joshua & Aaron Karch; 7 great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. Oscar graduated from the University of Iowa as an engineer and later received his Master's in Education from the University of Rochester, and taught math for over 20 years at Brighton Middle School. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, April 1, 2008 at 1 PM in the Benjamin Goldstein Chapel of Temple B'rith Kodesh (2131 Elmwood Ave.). Click here for a map.
