Obituary of Earl Krakower

Earl Krakower Rochester: Beloved husband, dad, grandpa and dear friend, passed away peacefully on May 9, 2010 surrounded by loved ones. Earl is survived by Esther, his wife of 45 years; children, Gary, Ron & Stacy; grandchildren, Adam and Livvy; siblings Queenie & Gerry, Miriam & Neal, Stan & Sandy, and Jack; and 25 nieces and nephews. Earl lived his life with extraordinary flair, compassion and a big laugh. He loved Esther, his family, friends and work. Earl touched his family, friends and the Rochester community with his kind heart and sense of humor. He will be greatly missed. Earl was a Professor for 30 years at RIT. He had been Chair of the Chemistry Department and retired as Professor Emeritus. His energetic 16 year second career was as a well respected real estate agent. Earl took active leadership roles in many charitable and professional organizations in the Rochester area. Funeral Service will be held at Temple Beth El, 139 Winton Road South on Wednesday, May 12, 2010 at 3 PM.Click here for directions to Beth El. Interment, Mt. Hope Cemetery.
