I am so very sorry to see this news. Bea was such a good friend to my mother, Molly (Midge) Hewitt and my brother, Martin Hewitt. She always had a smile on her face every time I saw her. Now she can rest in peace, free of pain, next to her beloved. My deepest sympathies to the entire family.

We are saddened by Bea's passing, yet we are grateful for her fellowship and for her cheerful and thoughtful encouragement when our lives intersected. We are privileged that she shared her talent with us for so many years in the University of Rochester Symphony Orchestra, and we are awed to know that this was only one of the many ways she impacted many lives over many years.
Our most sincere condolences to her family.

Bea was an elegant women. Her passion for music inspired all of us who proudly served with her on the Beth El Music Committee . She shared her artistry with all of us as we planned for Cantorial Concerts and musical innovations such as Friday Night Live , and Slichot musical presentations.
When Bea had a thought to share with us , it was offered in a quiet voice , few words, but all profound. Her respect for the dignity of music in the Synagogue will set an example for all of us who shared her enthusiasm.
