Obituary of Hela K. Lipitz

October 8, 2016 at age 72. Predeceased by parents, Yuda & Dina Kinel. She is survived by her devoted husband of 43 years, Jan Lipitz; sons, Jeffrey (Roxana) & Scott (Kelly) Lipitz; adored granddaughters, Ruby & Adriana; sister, Leja (David) Allyn; nephews, Seth (Rebecca) & Mark (Nadine) Allyn; as well as numerous other loving family members and dear friends. Hela knew at a very early age that she would be a teacher and fulfilled that aspiration by spending many years as a teacher in the Rochester City School District. Upon her retirement from RCSD, she continued her lifelong desire to help children by serving as a substitute teacher at the Brighton Schools, until her illness no longer allowed her to continue. She will be missed by her family, friends as well as many teaching colleagues and students. Graveside Services will be held onMonday, October 10, 2016 at 1 PM in Britton Road Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday from 4-9 PM & Tuesday from 10 AM-1 PM at 23 Jenna Way in Henrietta. Donations may be made to Temple Beth El in her memory.
