I want to offer my sincere condolences to the family of Andy Lovenheim. As former ad manager of Hickey Freeman Company I worked closely with Andy and even after I retired and Great Lakes was no more I'd meet him for lunch at Irondequoit Country Club. Over the years I developed a lot of respect for Andy and considered him not only a good working partner but also a true friend. I will miss him greatly.

Dear Jane and family,
So sorry to read of your father's passing. I have such fond memories of him, my favorite being his taking us sledding at ICC and then buying us hot chocolate. He always had a twinkle in his eye. I know he was a great dad, grandfather and great grandfather and he will be missed.

It is with great sadness that one of my former bosses at Great Lakes Press has passed on. I learned a lot from Andy. I remember one time when I received a promotion, Andy leaned back in his chair and said. "You have moxie, you can do the job" I had to go home that night and look the word up, had no idea what he meant, LOL. Still in printing to this day and would not be if not for people like Andy, Cliff, John and Larry, my condolences to all.

Peter, Janie, Bob and families,
My heart is with you. Andy was a life-long friend for me and for our family. Aging never changed him. On my last viist he asked about Israeli politics - his favorite topic-, reminisced about himself and my mother at Franklin High and told me proudly about his new grandson-in-law to be. He was the last of the group, the end of an era. He lived well and parted peacefully from this world .... this must be such a comfort to you. He will be remembered with love.

Although I have only known Andy for a dew years, I found him to be a kind and interesting man. I shall surely miss his meaningful and often wise guy comments at our luncheons. Peggy and I send our condolences to Robert and the rest of the Lovenheim family. A good man will be in our memories.

What a remarkably long and full life. I have many memories of Great Lakes Press, my father's long career there and several summers when I worked there in the sales service department. Cliff and Andy were indeed intimidating to this naive college boy but they always had a twinkle in their eyes when I joined them in the elevator on the way to the fourth floor.

I was saddened to read of Andy's passing. I have known Andy and his entire family since I moved to Rochester in 1962. Andy was always wonderful to Leslie, my family and me. He was very sharp, had a quick wit and was very engaging Andy was a real people person and he truly made a difference. We are thinking of the family at this time and Andy will truly be missed by family and friends.
