Obituary of Florence E. Slakter

Florence E. Slakter Passed away on October 7, 2012 at age 93. Predeceased by her husband, Charles Slakter & brother, Sid Klass. Survived by her loving daughters, Susan (Pete) Holland & Karen Ziegler; grandchildren, Lara, Michelle & Jodi Smith; great grandchildren, Danae Baxter & Alexis Gibbs; sisters, Gertrude Citron & Estelle (Yale) Handelman; nieces & nephews. Florence was President of the Ladies Auxiliary and volunteered at the veterans hospitals throughout the area. Graveside Services will be held on Wednesday, October 10, 2012 at 2:30 PM in Britton Road Cemetery. Click here for directions to the cemetery.
