Leslye, you were always so appreciative of the care we gave Mike, even though it was never about us. Even still, your sincere and kind words will stay with me forever. NEVER COULD WE IMAGINE WHAT OUR LIVES WOULD BRING WHEN WE MET AT 8 YEARS OLD. WE THOUGHT LIFE WOULD BE FUN AND EASY AND PERHAPS IT WAS, UNTIL WE OUTGREW OUR TEENS AND BEGAN TO REALIZE THAT LIFE HAD ITS CHALLENGES. I REMEMBER WHEN MIKE CAME INTO YOUR LIFE. HE SEEMED SO QUIET COMPARED TO YOUR WONDERFUL OUTGOING AND FUNNY PERSONALITY. BUT YOU TWO BLENDED SO WELL TOGETHER AND CHOSE TO GET MARRIED. I FELT VERY PROUD TO BE STANDING UP FOR YOU AT YOUR WEDDING, WHICH MIGHT HAVE BEEN PERFECT IF I HADN'T FAINTED AT YOUR FEET DURING THE "I DO'S". OVER THE YEARS WE EACH HAVE HAD TO FACE THE LOSS OF A CHILD, YOU AND MIKE FIGHTING CANCER AND CANCER TAKING THE LIFE OF EACH OF OUR HUSBANDS WHILE HOLDING THEM IN OUR ARMS. MIKE WILL BE GREATLY MISSED BY HIS FAMILY AND ALL OF HIS MANY FRIENDS. I LOVE YOU MY DEAR FRIEND AND HOPE THAT WE WILL BE ABLE TO GET TOGETHER SOON. AND MIKE, THANK YOU FOR MY PIZZA.
