Obituary of Marilyn Berman
Passed away on October 21, 2016, at the age of 69. Survived by her loving husband, Howard Berman; children, Seth (Rebecca) Berman and Lindsay Berman; grandson, Flynn Leo Berman; brother, Douglas (Susan) Millstone; several nieces, nephews and many dear friends.
Marilyn's life was dedicated to family and children. A life long early childhood educator, she both taught in the classroom and trained other classroom teachers, co-creating the 60 Second Science Series, which is seen on public television throughout the country. Active in the community, Marilyn focused on childhood literacy and was the inspiration behind Pencils and Paper, a free school supply store for teachers.
Funeral Services will be held on TUESDAY at 10:30 AM at Temple Sinai located at 363 Penfield Road.
Burial will take place at the convenience of the family.
The family will sit Shiva at the family home on Tuesday from 2:30 – 5:00 PM and Wednesday from 2:30 – 5:00 PM & 6:30 – 8:30 PM.
