Such sad news, to lose this elegant lady who brought science into early childhood classrooms, the way science was meant to be explored. Thank you Marilyn for all you gave to generations of children in this community. Condolences to Howard and family.

Dear Howard and family,
Marilyn was such a wonderful, caring and loving person, and while we have known her for fewer years, her kindness and welcoming ways were greatly appreciated.. It is so difficult to deal with a loss like this. Knowing she is at peace may bring some solace, but none the less, it is so difficult when bad things happen to good people like Marilyn.
Unfortunately, we are abroad at a conference and will not be back in the US in time for the services. Hoping that when the time is right it will be possible to visit with Howard to pass on our respects personally.
In the interim, our thoughts and prayers are with you and your extended family.

Dear Howard, I am so terribly sad to read of Marilyn's passing. Although I knew she was not well, I hope she is now at peace. I think you know that I first met Marilyn many years ago when my oldest son enrolled at the RMSC preschool. She was wonderfully nurturing and inspired a natural curiosity in Harrison. When it came time for my second son Douglas to enter preschool, I requested "Mrs Berman" because I knew it would be a special experience for him too; and it was! Even after the boys finished RMSC, when I would see her out and about, she would always ask what the boys were doing.and I could tell she genuinely cared. I hope your good memories can help ease your pain and this tremendous loss. Melinda
