We lost a wonderful man who was a model of 'mentchlikeit'. I will miss him, his loyalty to our Jewish people and his sensitivity. May Hashem comfort his family and may his memory always be remembered for a blessing.

My sympathies go out to the whole family. It seems like the JCC was a second home to many of us through high school and university. So many of us were somehow connected to it through the Freedman family: Ann, Michael or Butch, or the babies that came later. May Len's memory be a comfort to all of you.

To the family. Words cannot adequately express how sorry we were to learn that Lenny had passed away. I am so fortunate to have know him, first as a neighbor in Simsbury, Ct. and then working as his Secretary at the Rochester JCC. Lenny was not only my boss but a true friend. I am sorry that we cannot be with you at this difficult time but please accept our deepest, heartfelt sympathy.
