I am so sorry to see that Mrs. Axelrod has passed away. She and her husband were good friends of my parents Phyllis and Jim Lippman. I would see her at the Summit when I was visiting my mother and she was always so friendly. (I apologize that this is so late, but I do not live in Rochester any more, and I do not check this website often.)

So sorry to see this obit in today's paper. I've known T'mara since I was in nursury school! She and
Abe and my mother were good friends when we lived here and when we left. Years later when I returned to Rochester, we kept in touch. In the past few years when I sang with The Jewish Chorale at the Summit, she was there and we hugged and she was always upbeat and glad to see me! She has been a part of my "extended" Rochester family. Rob and I will miss her. We just returned home from a trip and sorry I could not make the service today and cannot be at the shivahs, but please know that our thoughts are with all the family.

I regret I am out-of-town and cannot attend the funeral or participate in Shiva. My cousin was fun and active and loved her family. Nothing stopped her and I am proud that I helped her train to be Docent.

Shiva will be held at 130 Chadwick Drive on Monday from 3-5 & 7-9 PM & Tuesday from 11 AM-2 PM.
Service Info
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, September 21, 2015 at 11 AM in the Rabbi Abraham Solomon Chapel at Temple Beth El (139 Winton Road S.).
Interment
Temple Beth El plot, Range 9 of Mt. Hope Cemetery.
