Ursula was a dear friend since I worked with her on the Burn Unit at Strong Memorial Hospital including attending a Burn Symposium in New Orlean in the 70's. We had great times.
Ursula and my mom Janet Korpela worked together at Strong, and after my mother passed away Ursula kept in touch with me and we shared memories together. She was so supportive and such a wonderful woman.
Our office and staff would like to extend our most heartfelt condolences on the recent passing of Ms. Ursula Granite. She was well loved by our staff and a wonderful person to have known. We will surely miss her.
Ursula was my supervisor in the 80s at Strong.
She had the utmost of professional values and a social work practice which was admired by many within our department and across disciplines. She taught me much during those years.
A memorial service to celebrate Ursula’s life will be held in the spring, her favorite time of the year. Details will be made available at a later date.
