Obituary of Shirley Leess

Shirley Maranes Leess of Rochester and Ohio, passed away peacefully on September 1st, one week shy of her 97th birthday.

She is predeceased by her husband Howie, daughter-in-law Shelley, and granddaughter Dianne.

Born in Rochester, Shirley lived most of her adult life on Long Island supporting her husband’s musical career.

The later years have been spent back in Rochester to be near family, including son Richard (Gail), grandson Michael, and sister Evelyn Hoffman. She most recently moved to Ohio near son Fred (Sandra) and granddaughters Jaimi, Rachel, and Deanna Joy. Great-grandchildren,Henry, Leo and Olivia brought joy into her life. Shirley is also survived by sister, Dorothy Loeb.

A private graveside service at White Haven Memorial Park will be held at the convenience of the family.
