I so loved being in his presence because of the passion and energy he exuded. He always made me feel so special. One of my most enjoyable losses in tennis is due to him. He and Brad Thyroff beat Michael Frame and me in the finals of the Seneca Point tournament. It was a long three setter. He just beamed at its conclusion. I was so happy for him because he had worked with Brad on his game so hard that summer. Thank you David for the inumerable great memories and contributions that you made to this world. Rick Massie

As the founder of Bristol Harbour Village, I had major differences with David during the time he was involved. But, he kept his door open in an attempt to resolve differences that were in the interest of both parties and it worked. I was shocked at his death and extend my love and sympathy for his family. Indeed he was a successful pioneer in business and charity giving.
Frederick W. Sarkis, Founder of Bristol Harbour and Financial Father of Bristol Mountain. I salute David.

David was a key figure in the community and considered part of the fabric of our corporation. He will truly be missed. He was a big thinker with creative ideas and always had a positive approach to what was possible. People like David Flaum are rare in this world, let alone in our own backyard. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family. While we are all saddened for the loss of a business friend and colleague, we are grateful for having had both with David.

David was a gem.
We sorely will miss his infectious warmth and sincerity . We so admired his leadership and generosity, his
commitment to the Jewish People and our heritage, his love of the State of Israel and his love of our great United States.
We pray that Ilene and the children and grandchildren will take some small comfort in knowing how much he loved each of them and how much good he performed in his too short years in this World,
A great and noble friend has left us- may he represent us all well in the Heavenly Court.

An unparalleled friend and person. Overflowing with kindness,,decency, integrity and likability. The warmth of his life, and our so special memories of him, will comfort and shine on us forever. The world is a lesser place without David, but heaven is rejoicing to his arrival.
May the entire Flaum family be remembered for a blessing and celebrate the extraordinary life of this noble man.
