I played ball with Sy a couple of years ago for a couple of years and enjoyed
his cheerfulness and friendliness. We had a good time talking. I had no idea
he was six years older than me.
I am pleased to make a contribution to the Rochester Alzheimer's Association in his
memory. My best wishes to his daughter and grandkids. I hope he was the model
Dad I think he was and that your memories of Sy are sweet..

Sy and Goldie were 2 of our favorite people. They were great friends and mentors.
We will miss Sy's "stories" and his great humor!

I was saddened to read this morning of the passing of Coach Davis. Mr. Davis was my soccer coach for my first three years at Eastridge. I was hired by Coach for my first coaching position as his assistant at Eastridge in 1975. We reconnected when I was hired as the head coach at MCC he taught Business classes. I enjoyed our brief conversations in my office or whenever we saw each other in the hallways. We will always be grateful for his support and friendship.

Our deep condolences to Laurie, Allie and Sam. Cherish all your wonderful memories. The times I met Sy he always had a joke and a sports story. He was so proud of his grandchildren. With love - the Gustafsons
