Obituary of Sally Mae Rosenthal

June 5, 2020 at age 86. Sally was born a twin but lived a singular and distinctively unique life. She grew up in Rochester and ventured off to New York City as a young woman. She lived in the East Village for 40 years. She enjoyed fine wine, gourmet food, and the eccentric friends she found in Manhattan. Sally loved and sought to protect animals and defend the underdog. She had a loving heart and a fiercely stubborn demeanor. She loved books and cooking and was a spiritual being with a strong belief that being a good person in this life would help her in the next life. Sally retired from Bristol Myers and returned to Rochester as a senior adult to live near her family again. 

She is predeceased by her parents, Irving & Audrey Rosenthal. She is survived by her sister, Maxine Rosenthal Sugerman; her twin sister, Sandra Rosenthal Gulisano; nieces & nephews; and loyal friend, Donna Ricketts.

A private memorial will be held for the family.
