I apologize for the delay in writing to you. Though I believe that I only met your mom once, I spoke with her
on the phone a few times and admired her greatly. She was a regular writer of letters to the editor of the
Rockland Journal News. She always wrote with passion and detail regarding a variety of social-justice causes.
Reading her story (which I have kept a copy of since it appeared in the paper on May 31) made me even more of a fan.
I just want you to know that she made a positive impact on the life of our community here in Rockland County.
However proud you already were of her, you should add a bit more. She truly was someone special. May her
memory always live on as a blessing.
