Dear Anna. So very sorry to read of David’s passing. Certainly brings back memories of days gone by. Some of the memories which come into my thoughts are David starting his practice in Rochester and my calling his office checking on a prescription for one of his many patients. When my Son Larry became a fast friend of Dr. Mark he considered Mark his closest friend. I remember being in Rochester for the high Holidays you would acknowledge me so “warmly” that i felt important and a member of your family, When I visited Sarasota and walking into the Chabad David was there to welcome me to The Service. Also while in Sarasota we would ‘bump” into each other. It was so great to see a familiar friend from Rochester. I must tell you that Helen considered you a friend even tho our paths did not cross so often. I do not know whether you knew that the first year i spent in Buffalo in Pharmacy school I lived with David’s Brother Al. Anna, sincere condolences. He was a real “Mensh” and respected by all who came into contact with Him. What a legacy he leaves behind. He will be missed. Be well. My deepest Sympathy. As ever Sy Margolis

Dear Anna, Boruch, and all of your families, deepest condolences on your loss. David was a gentleman and a scholar, a wonderful respected physician and an exemplary member of klal Yisrael and of the greater society. You are fortunate, as I was, to have had a father who was a true role model, who you will always be proud of and was always proud of his family. Anna, you were blessed to have had him as your life partner for so many wonderful years. God bless

My parents, Joe and Harriett Shulman, were patients in the practice starting in 1964. For them, David Eisenberg was the standard for which they set their health care. My mother has asked me to pass along this message: David Eisenberg was an outstanding human being and doctor. I always respected him and had complete faith in him.
May his memory be a blessing and a comfort.
