To her wonderful daughters
Was so sad to read of her passing but wow almost 102.....
I met Lily when i was working at Pierres World of Travel
She was a beautiful lady.
I was so fortunate to go and have lunch at her home when living at THE SUMMIT. She and I had a special friendship.
I last had seen her at the JCC seeing MOSES MAN.Such a wonderful tribute..
Seeing her in the commercial always brought a smile.
She and your dad are smiling together.

Dear Debbie & Suzanne & family,
I am so sorry for your loss - especially in this time of social distancing. I wish we could all embrace you and pass on our condolences in person. Lily was a little lady who was larger than life! I feel so priveledged to have known her and worked with her as Director of CHAI. I was also priveledged to perform at her 90th birthday party! May beautiful memories comfort you during this time. Thankfully, her amazing story lives on through Perilous Journeys, Moses Man and the Rochester Holocaust Survivors Archive. I'm adding some happy memories from Lily's 100th birthday party which happened in conjunction with CHAI's Days of Awe Service in 2018... May you be comforted among the mourners of Zion and Jerusalem.
In Friendship & Sympathy,
Bonnie Abrams

I’m so sorry to learn about Lily’s passing. I always enjoyed speaking German with her and stopping by to see her birds and to check in on her. She lived an amazing life, was quite an artist and will be so missed. I am so fortunate to have known her. Thoughts and Prayers to you all. Becky Johnson, former Summit Marketing Counselor

Lily was always friendly, smiling and gracious. She and my late husband, Kurt Weinbach would share their stories of being born in Vienna, Austria and having to flee. I am so glad that you had that wonderful 100th birthday and so many came. I also enjoyed seeing her smiling face on the commercial for at home Dr. visits.
Also, the biographical information was especially appreciated.

I met Lily years ago at the JCC. She was the loveliest and kindest woman. How fortunate that you had her in your lives for so long. My sincere condolences, Sally Hirst

She lived 101 amazing years.
She painted.
She loved birds.
She had big glasses and a soft voice.
She raised three magnificent daughters.
She was the last of her generation in our family.
The last of our Holocaust survivors.
I fight in her memory.
And in my Omi's.
And in Freddie's, their brother who didn't make it out.
I carry their courage and pain.
I live in their love.

This is a beautiful picture of Lily. She was truly a remarkable person, full of life and energy.
I remember Lily and Kalman in my house for holidays over the years. There with my parents, Anne and Max Brooks, Ruthie and I made our own little family.
In Lily's later years when she moved Into independent living, Lenny and I would call to talk with her and she always remembered, not only who we were but the names of our children and grandchildren. She never forgot. I always felt uplifted after getting off the phone with her. When Lily's hearing became quite severe, I felt a loss when we could no longer connect with her by phone.
I will remember her always. May she rest in peace after a life well spent in every way.
Geri and Lenny Drexler
