To Lois's Family, Just a note from an admirer from afar. I always enjoyed Lois from eighth grade on. She was a warmhearted, confident and funny person. A leader in the making. I can still hear her happily calling, "hi Annie" whenever we met up with one another. So sorry to lose her. Ann Braverman

Dear Mara Keane David and family,
We are so sad to hear of the loss of your beautiful Mom, Lois. We always loved being in her company. From sailing to traveling we shared some wonderful times together. We especially remember our magical trip to China. Lois and Joe were a fabulous duo to travel with. More later. We know that both their memories are a blessing to you.

Lois and I were friends from the time she moved to Brighton nearly 70 years ago. She was a wonderful caring person liked by everyone who knew her. Her wonderful knitting was legendary in our community, and was professional quality.
Lois was one of the most generous people I knew, always the first to volunteer her home for special events among our group of friends. Her kindness and gracious spirit will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her.
Condolences to her family,
Ruth Schwartz

Mara and Keane, your parents have been on my most admired list for years. The picture, with the rabbit and what has to be Joe's hand on her shoulder, is a beautiful portrayal of their devotion. Whom ever set up that blind date was a genius. There are also hundreds of local young people who have benefitted (Quad A) from their creativity, generosity, and caring. My sincere condolences to you and the other family members.

Lois was very special to all who knew her. She lit up every room she walked in to.She gave so much of herself to so many. We had a cousins club lunch monthly and as everyone arrived the question was " Lois is coming, isn't she?" She would walk in with her beautiful snow white hair, one of her beautiful sweater creations, and a smile that was contagious. We loved her and will miss her greatly.
