Om and I wish there were words that would be of comfort during this difficult time, but those words do not exist. Phil was a great friend and Om will miss seeing him every morning as well as the poems and pearls of wisdom he would often share. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

I'm saddened by the loss of such a caring person as Phil. I've known Phil through our interactions at Midvale CC over the last 30 years. His leadership was notable as a past president and one who did not shy away from involvement. He was generous with his time and experience. I often reached out for his advice and he was never reluctant to give guidance. Phil was someone who earned respect and affection. My sympathies to the entire family for your loss

Phil Garver was as much a gentleman as any I've known. His smile and concern for you were huge. I knew Phil from synagogue and the JCC and there was NEVER a day when I wasn't glad I ran into him. May his memory be always for a blessing for all those he leaves behind. PS: 94? :) He was still quite active in the Fitness Center!
