I am so sorry to learn of the loss of Joe Yudelson, who was my supervisor at the Kodak Research Laboratories from 1987 - 1991, and who was my neighbor for so many years in the Park Avenue ABC Streets. I will remember him for his extensive knowledge of chemistry, photography and science in general; his creativity at work (numerous patents); his honesty; his sense of humor; his enjoyment of farming at his property on Seneca Lake; his love of animals, especially dogs; and his great pride in his family - his wife Tanya and his children and grandchildren. I will also remember his generosity to his friends and coworkers, who, like myself, were treated to dinner parties, visits to his farm and annual bottles of Yudelson Merlot. He contributed in so many ways and will be greatly missed.

Joe was the last remnant of a vibrant community of Jewish families in the "ABC Streets" neighborhood. I enjoyed knowing him from my very earliest years and shared a warm friendship with the family. Deepest condolences to the Yudelson family.
