I played Scrabble with Irene at the local club on Monday nights in Pittsford in the 90s.
Irene was a much better player so I wasn't paired with her too much!
She was always so friendly and nice.
I only went once after 2002-to show off my baby daughter's picture but I always asked after Irene when
I would run into Scrabble Club players or if I saw Dale, her neighbor, when I worked at Maplewood PL as a sub.
Condolences to all.
