Obituary of Morton L. Bittker
September 29, 2019 at age 83. Predeceased by his parents, Irving & Hortense Bittker; brothers David & Richard Bittker. Survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Maxine; devoted daughter, Holly (Aharon "Roni") Boker; adored grandchildren, Shai Y., Nadav M. & Hadar G. Boker; nieces & nephews, Amy (Terry) Baker, Jim (Lori) Bittker, Faye (Arie) Bittker Rudnik, Melissa Bittker & Beth Shuttleworth.
Mort received his undergraduate degree from the U of R and his law degree from Cornell. After serving in the US Army Reserves, he began practicing law in 1961 in Rochester, first at Easton, Wagner & Bittker and more recently at Woods Oviatt Gilman LLP.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, October 2, 2019 at 11 AM in the sanctuary of Temple B'rith Kodesh (2131 Elmwood Ave.) Click here for directions. Interment, White Haven Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends on WEDNESDAY from 3-5 & 7-9 PM & THURSDAY from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at 340 Avalon Drive. Click here for directions.
