One of the greatest people I have ever had the honor to know. I will never forget his larger than life persona, and kind heart. So very grateful to have known him through Julie and her remarkable family, so grateful that he was at our wedding singing his song, so grateful for every conversation we had. You will be missed Mr. Rosenbaum, but forever in our hearts. Our sincerest condolences to Mrs. Rosenbaum, Julie Fay, and the entire family

So sad to hear of Rosey's passing. I think fondly of the 9 years I worked as his assistant at Nixon Peabody and the ongoing excitement and adventure supporting someone in the political arena! Quite an education, especially to a Brit 'fresh off the boat' but I believe this was a major contributor to my eventual success as a business owner. Rosey could laugh with the mail clerk just as easily as he could a State Leader and that was what made him so charismatic and memorable. I feel privileged to have been a small part of one of the many chapters in phenomenal life lived! My sincerest sympathies to Judy and all the children and grandchildren: he was a special person and you were blessed to have him in your lives for so long. Sincerely, Jennifer

Dear Judy and beloved family,
I am so very saddened to learn of Dick’s passing. I was privileged to see him almost every evening at the Film Festival a few weeks ago. My fondest memories go back to days when Dick appeared at my door in Penfield campaigning with a comb to hand out. Wonderful sense of humor ! I know he will be missed and remembered by the legacy he leaves.
May all your wonderful memories help sustain you during this difficult time.
Sincerest condolences, Ellie

We cherish many happy memories with the Rosenbaum family. I can still hear Dick's laugh and the many Yiddish sayings - the picnics, the dining out, Passover at your home, Thanksgiving at ours, Niagara Falls, Albany and especially the joy of our children together.
His passing is a loss for his family first and foremost and for the many friends who loved him.

Dear Judy, Amy, Jill, Matt, Julie and the entire family, I am so sorry to hear about this. Dick was a larger than life presence and one of the funniest people I have ever met. I have SO many memories of him and of all of you. You were all a big part of my life and the lives of my 5 siblings as we grew up. So many people say this, but he truly was unique. He and my dad always had a great time practicing law together . I will never forget the story about how Dick stood up to argue a summary judgment motion against the jerky neighbors that sued to stop the construction of our house on Gramercy Park. He got so emotional that Dad told him to sit down and argued the motion himself. I will always love Dick for that moment, if not for so many others. May his memory be a blessing to you. I will try to travel in from Buffalo for the shiva. Love, Cathy Agnello

Dear Judy and all of Dick's family
I never met a person , more universally loved than Dick. My most memorable moments were greeting him at Beth El on Shabbat or on a holiday service. His warm smile and handshake were memorable. I had the opportunity to share a unique sports experience with Dick. For many years we joined with a few others to attend the annual Hobart / Cornell lacrosse game , a rivalry that we all took seriously. As we drove to Geneva or Ithaca I appreciated Dick's jovial outlook on life and the passion that he felt for the world around him.
Bradleigh joins me in extending our condolences on your loss.
