I am a volunteer at the Episcopal Church Home. I really enjoyed visiting with Rose. She always had a smartass comment and used some "bad" language. When she came to any of the parties or other activities she always sat near the back so she could make a quick getaway. When she came down for her last party she was in a wheelchair. I asked her how she was going to sneak out. She replied, " I'll just grab you as you go by." When asked if she wanted a drink, she always asked for a gin and tonic. I wish I could have given her one. She was such a bright light at the nursing home and will be missed. It was a pleasure to get to know Rose.
