My condolences to the family of this special man. He was so fortunate to live a long life, but I know that does not make his passing any less difficult for family and friends. Beneath his quiet demeanor I saw a man filled with deep thoughts and opinions, a good heart, and sprinkled on top with a bit of humor. I will miss seeing him at dinners with his friends and am so glad I had the chance to spend some time with him in his later years.
