Dr.Spiller will be missed in the world of antiques and collectibles. He lived one street over from where I grew up and he gave my mom and I a tour of his collections back in the '1980's which was impressive as was his enthusiasm and knowledge. R.I.P.

Dearest Burton, I feel most fortunate to have known you. Your kindness, generosity, care, and genuine interest in other's well-being was a beacon of refreshing light. Thank you for your wit, your perspective on life, your wonderful and whimsical stories. The last time we were together, we shared a lovely dinner at your new home, after which you proudly gave us the grand tour of the entire facility. I regret that we never made that recipe we found in the cookbook we discovered in the library common area outside the community dining room. Sending you hugs in heaven. With great love, respect and admiration, Ray

I was one of Burt's first patients. He was so nervous about doing everything perfect that he often did things twice, just to make sure. Over the years we stayed in contact, mostly at kidishes at TBE. When I had some collectible issues when administering estates, Burt was always there to help out. Good bye my friend. You will be missed.
