Dear Susan, Sherry and Arline: I'm so sorry to hear of this. Your mom was always so nice to me, and such a lively, interesting woman as well. I greatly enjoyed having lunch with her and Susan this past summer. If there's anything I can do to help, just let me know.
Love from Ruth

To Susan, Sherry, Arlene and Lisa, my condolences with the loss of your mother.
The Phillips family took me under their wing when I first arrived in this country at the age of 22. Both Sheldon and Jean have always shown kindness, love and interest in me and my family's adventures. Regular updates by Susan kept me in the loop.
For many years our contact was only via the December letter and yearly family photo taken at Thanksgiving. It has been a pleasure and a honor to have known Jean Phillips. I will miss her and remember her only with fond memories.

Dear Susan, Sherry, Arline and Lisa. Words cannot express the great loss of your Mom for me as well as for all of you. As you know of all the years we have been friends, I, too, will miss her. I am glad we had the few days at the Jewish Home to share memories of our past. I will miss her but know her pain is gone and I will remember her with love. May her memories help you to find comfort. Love, Audrey
