Obituary of Doogie Garfinkel
Died unexpectedly on February 3rd at age 54. He was predeceased by his mother Linda Atkin Garfinkel. He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years Kerry, children Katy and Keith (Misty), father Jan (JoAnn) and brother Jon (Gail).
Kent, was nicknamed “Doogie” by his parents before he was born. He owned G&G Flooring company, enjoyed fine food and wine, vacationing in the warm weather of St. Martin yearly, and his many friends. Doogie was an avid sports fan and loved the Bills and Reds. He was witty, lots of fun and enjoyed the Rolling Stones and his Corvette.
Doogie will always be missed by those who knew him and enjoyed his company.
Friends and family are invited to a graveside ceremony which will be held at 1 PM on Friday, February 15, 2019 at Oakwood Cemetery (Baird Road Cemetery) [Click here for directions] and to a celebration of his life from 2-5 PM at the Century Club at the Strathallan Hotel [Click here for directions].
