There are no words. He was tickled that my great grandfather's name was Abram,
Abe was funny, passionate, brilliant, inquisitive, and so kind.
I have two fond memories of Abe that stick out. The night that Jill passed and how brave he was and seeing the love for her in his eyes. Him singing to her brought tears to my eyes.
The second was when I got to accompany him to the Eastman for a concert. The unbelievable respect that people had for him. His love of music and return to the familiar as he sat in his chair quietly conducting the music in his head as it played. I watched him anticipate every movement. I loved listening to music with Abe.
At home, Abe was a sweetheart. So grateful for our help. I used to say "Hello Handsome." He would say "Oh stop it! Am I really?" And then I would say "of course! You look in the mirror every day at those beautiful eyes.!" He was just an amazing human and I am so blessed to have known him in my life.

Abram, Was always a man I enjoyed talking with. He was friendly, witty and always had a smile on his face. He will be missed but never forgotten. With Sympathy, John Beck
