It is funny how just a picture brings you back. As I look at this picture of my Aunt and Uncle, the picture fades to days gone by. To holidays and get togethers. To memories when I was very young and dinners seemed to take hours at a very large table to my then young eyes that seemed to go on for ever. Why is it that sometimes you remember the silly things like all of us in a car at a very young age when an adult asked, "What should we do for dinner?". Well thank goodness for the Golden Arches because as soon as that was suggested, all of let out a roar of approval and excitement. Simpler times indeed.
I remember the moments in Chicago, the warmth and always the love and support.
No we didnt get together nearly enough or even hardly at all. The loss is of course on those of us left here.
But right now, the stained glass windows of heaven are shining with a new luster.
To you my Aunt, with love always.
Mark Weiss

I spent a lot of time at the Cooper house when I was growing up, hanging out with Marcy. Mrs. Cooper was Mom, so kind and funny and warm. She loved a house full of people and there was always much laughter and great food and a good time. I was lucky enough to have gone camping with them, too, and got to explore places like Cooperstown and Niagara Falls, always feeling loved and safe and happy. One of my favorite memories is how much love and affection I saw between Lenore and Don. It was such a happy place to spend time. My deepest love and condolences to Mr. Cooper, Steve and Marcy. Mrs. Cooper will always hold a very big, special place in my heart.
Love Always, Amy

Marcy and family, I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your mom. She suffered from the same disease my mom did- so I can empathize with how difficult her illness must have been for everyone- you and your brother, Linda, Dan and I all grew up around the corner from each other so we go back a long way. Thinking of you at this very sad time...
