Dear Mark, Martin, Earl, Ronald & Lauren - We were very sorry to learn of Aunt Beckie's passing. She was very special and always treated all of us as one of her own while we were visiting on Collingwood. Like Uncle Harry, her dedication and countless mitzvot for our shule will never be forgotten. Personally, we will forever be in Aunt Beckie's debt for (while crying) washing our Mother Sarah's body in preparation for her burial. She was a tough gal with a huge heart of gold. Many prayers and thoughts have been with Beckie's family. we first met years ago when we were introduced by my dear beloved Grandmother Esther Solomon at a ladies auxiliary get together. Beckie was one of the sweetest ladies i have been blessed & honored to have known. like so many of our dear loved ones no longer with us Beckie will be missed & loved forever.

Nona, you were such a strong, beautiful woman that kept your immediate and distant family together. You always had an open home with plenty of food for everyone. I love and cherish all our summers with the huge Valinsky clan under one roof. I loved when I would call, and you would share old stories with me. You will be truly missed. I know you were greeted by Papoo, Uncle Harlan & the rest of the family. You are probably cooking up some delicious food, being the host that you are, and all laughing about old times. I love you!

dearest family - i'm so very saddened to hear of darling Beckie's death. i will never forget all of the memorable times as our children were growing up on Collingwood and Ridge Rd. always smiling, generous, luving, thoughtful Beckie - the hostess with the mostest! how blessed we all were to have shared in the gift of Beckie..i was fortunate to be able to see her many times thru the years here in California. Rest in peace, darling Beckie. i hope you know how much we luv you....

The family will receive friends at the Jewish Home on Monday from 7-9 PM.
Service Info
Graveside Services will be held Monday, June 16, 2014 at 4 PM at Britton Road Cemetery.
Interment
Light of Israel Section of Britton Road Cemetery.
