Dear Evan and Spindelman Family -
I am so sorry for your loss. While I was at the Bar Association and Norm was still attending CLEs, I always enjoyed chatting with him before programs. He is a part of the legacy that built such a strong legal community here.
Peace,
Louise

Glenna and Evan:
With a sadness when I read Norm's obituary, I actually smiled at a memory I often have of a time with him. While waiting for the poker group, Norm took a call from I presumed a client. He listened for five or more minutes. Then he started to speak and was interrupted. He firmly said "I listened to you, now you listen to me". The moment was like the light bulb going on with regard to communicating with people for me. It taught me to have patience and to listen more intently. Then to expect the same in return. And lastly, often the last word is the most clearly remembered.
To me he was a man of the world. Many interests, experiences, and wonderful stories. It would have been great if we both had invested in My Fair Lady. Then again the best investment was in knowing him.
My sincerest condolences, Ken.

Glenna and family, I will miss him also. Norman was always with us when we worked together, not always visable but gave us a perimeter in which to work. He was a very accomplished man and well respected. I have the usual Holiday cold and all that goes with it. So I will keep it to myself and forgot the calling hours. I saw the picture of the empty Allens Creek home and knew you moved.
Glenna, my heart goes out to you at this time. Keep in touch.
