Obituary of Samuel A. Katz

September 2, 2017, at 91 years old. Predeceased by his wife, Muriel A. Katz & parents, Irving & Bessie Katz. Survived by his loving daughters, Sharon B. (Mark L. Clark) Katz, Gail B. Katz and Jill L. Katz; cherished grandchildren, Sabra (Julie), Sarah, Nadia, Rosie (Adam), Elana (Chagai), Rae Anne, Michal & Jacob; great grandchildren, Henry, Ma'ayan & Netta; significant other, Maxine Newman. Sam was a Navy veteran of World War II. 

The family would like to acknowledge the wonderful staff on 6 NE of the Jewish Home of Rochester for all their love & caring support.

Funeral services will be held on TUESDAY, September 5, 2017 at 9:30 AM in the Sanctuary of Temple Beth El (139 Winton Rd. S.). Interment, Britton Road Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at The Jewish Home on Tuesday from 2-5 & 7-9 PM.  

Donations may be made to Jewish Senior Life Foundation, Jewish Federation of Rochester or Temple Beth El in his memory.
