I remember vividly, playing basketball in the driveway after school in the late afternoons and Sol driving into his spot on the round driveway in his Mustang. He had his Monarch shirt on that had been soiled with the days work and a few cigars in his front pocket. Sometimes he would take a few shots with us, but mostly a friendly greeting and into the house to get comfortable and ready for dinner. Those were the good ole days of the early 70's. Life was simple and complete--we'll miss you Sol.--Jim Costanza

Sol was very kind to my mother Maxine Gold at the Jewish home. Whenever my mom walked by Sol would ask her what his name was. After several minutes of contemplation my mother would say Baker and then he would say what is my first name and she would say your wife's name is Ruth and your name is Sol. I am deeply sorry for your loss.
